On Monday, February 24th, 2009 the SPT Crusader performed an emergency lightering operation with the Yasa Golden Dardanelles. The Yasa Golden Dardanelles had grounded 28 miles from Galveston on Friday, February 20th. SPT Mooring Master Captain Dave Edwards directed the operation with the Captain of the SPT Crusader, Captain H. P. DeVitre.
